Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and regional market dynamics.
- Lead negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms, conditions, and pricing, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from vendor selection and qualification to contract management and performance monitoring.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers, fostering strong, mutually beneficial relationships to enhance supply chain resilience and innovation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes, tools, and systems to achieve operational excellence.
- Conduct market analysis and intelligence gathering to anticipate trends, risks, and opportunities in the global supply landscape.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Finance, Legal) to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Mentor and guide junior procurement professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in category management, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and efficiency improvements in a complex, global environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency with e-procurement platforms, ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
