Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and regional market dynamics.
  • Lead negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms, conditions, and pricing, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from vendor selection and qualification to contract management and performance monitoring.
  • Identify and evaluate new suppliers, fostering strong, mutually beneficial relationships to enhance supply chain resilience and innovation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes, tools, and systems to achieve operational excellence.
  • Conduct market analysis and intelligence gathering to anticipate trends, risks, and opportunities in the global supply landscape.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Finance, Legal) to align procurement activities with business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in category management, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and efficiency improvements in a complex, global environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
