Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key commodities, achieving 15-20% annual cost reduction targets
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes including RFQ/RFP creation, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation
- Manage critical supplier relationships and performance metrics using SAP Ariba and Coupa platforms
- Drive sustainability initiatives through ethical sourcing and carbon footprint reduction programs
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to develop proactive mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align procurement with business objectives
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive procurement experience in manufacturing or distribution
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent certification
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and e-procurement platforms
- Proven track record of negotiating complex contracts with Fortune 500 vendors
- Advanced data analysis skills with experience in procurement KPI reporting
- Deep knowledge of international trade regulations and customs compliance
- Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting to executive leadership
