Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to meet business objectives while minimizing costs and risks.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews and negotiating favorable contract terms.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and supplier analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and emerging market trends.
- Cost Reduction: Analyze spending patterns and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve the organization's bottom line.
- Process Improvement: Streamline procurement processes and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and engineering, to understand project requirements and deliver value.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and procurement software.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret market trends, and create detailed reports.
- Negotiation: Proven track record of successful negotiation with vendors and internal stakeholders.
