Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for raw materials and MRO supplies
- Lead vendor negotiations and contract management to achieve 15%+ cost reduction targets
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to inform procurement decisions
- Implement supplier scorecard systems and performance improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ethical sourcing standards
- Manage procurement budget exceeding $5M annually
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive procurement experience in manufacturing
- CPSM or CIPS certification preferred
- Expert proficiency in SAP Ariba and e-procurement platforms
- Proven track record of strategic sourcing and cost optimization
- Advanced analytical skills with experience in spend analysis tools
- Strong negotiation skills with ability to manage complex vendor relationships
