Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from identifying needs to final contract execution.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve quality.
- Manage and nurture relationships with key suppliers to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive bidding processes to identify best-in-class vendors.
- Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Lead a team of junior buyers and analysts, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing management.
- CIPS Level 4 or higher qualification is highly desirable.
- Strong experience in negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier risk.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements.
