Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key commodities (raw materials, MRO, logistics)
- Lead vendor negotiations and contract management to ensure cost efficiency and risk mitigation
- Analyze market trends and KPIs to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, finance) on procurement strategies
- Manage supplier performance metrics and implement corrective action plans
- Oversee procurement budget forecasting and cost-saving initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and CSR procurement standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive procurement experience with 3+ in leadership
- CIPS or CPSM certification required
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP Ariba or Oracle preferred)
- Proven success in strategic sourcing and contract negotiations
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience managing global supplier diversity programs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
