Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-million dollar procurement strategies across 15+ commodity categories
- Lead cross-functional teams to optimize supplier performance and risk mitigation
- Implement cost-saving initiatives targeting 12-15% annual reduction in total procurement spend
- Drive sustainability goals by sourcing 30% of materials from certified green suppliers
- Oversee digital transformation of procurement processes using SAP Ariba and Coupa platforms
- Manage vendor relationships through performance scorecards and continuous improvement frameworks
- Ensure compliance with ISO 20400 sustainable procurement standards
Qualifications
- 8+ years progressive procurement experience with 3+ years in leadership roles
- CIPS or CPSM certification required (MBA preferred)
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, and contract negotiation
- Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives exceeding $2M annually
- Advanced proficiency in procurement software (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle)
- Experience managing global supply chains with diverse vendor portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
