Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for direct and indirect spend categories.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align procurement goals with organizational objectives.
- Implement rigorous vendor performance metrics to ensure high-quality delivery and compliance.
- Mentor junior procurement specialists to foster a culture of operational excellence.
- Manage end-to-end procurement workflows, including purchase order processing and invoice reconciliation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar spend categories with complex vendor bases.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Coupa preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Excel; certification in Lean or Six Sigma is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- CPSM or CPIM certification is highly preferred.
