Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category sourcing strategies to achieve cost-savings targets.
- Manage end-to-end supplier lifecycle, including vetting, negotiation, contracting, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align procurement activities with broader business objectives.
- Implement data-driven procurement processes to enhance visibility and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Mentor and guide a team of procurement analysts to improve overall departmental performance.
- Monitor global market trends to proactively identify supply chain disruptions and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement.
- Proven track record in managing complex, global vendor relationships.
- Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement software suites.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and spend analytics.
- Professional certification (CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and an ability to influence stakeholders at the executive level.
