Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans across 15+ commodity categories
- Negotiate multi-million dollar contracts with global suppliers
- Implement cost-saving initiatives targeting 12-15% annual reduction
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct performance reviews
- Leverage ERP systems (SAP) for procurement analytics and reporting
- Lead cross-functional teams on sourcing projects and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and sustainability standards
- Mentor junior procurement specialists and develop team capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive procurement experience with 3+ in leadership
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or CIPS designation
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management
- Advanced proficiency in SAP Ariba and procurement analytics tools
- Proven track record of achieving 10%+ cost savings initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
