Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies for key commodity categories.
- Lead complex contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Monitor market trends and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate potential disruptions.
- Build and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with high-value suppliers.
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Oversee supplier performance management and conduct regular business reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement aligns with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in strategic procurement or tactical purchasing.
- Proven track record in managing complex contract negotiations and vendor relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders.
- CPSM or PMP certification is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of global trade compliance and logistical supply chain constraints.
