Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for direct and indirect materials.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Manage end-to-end supplier lifecycle, including performance evaluation and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with production goals.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee procurement compliance and ensure adherence to company procurement policies.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team of junior buyers and analysts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
- Proven track record of managing high-value spend categories and international suppliers.
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data-driven insights.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build consensus across stakeholders.
