Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Lead high-value contract negotiations with key vendors, ensuring alignment with corporate compliance and quality standards.
- Analyze market trends and internal consumption data to identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from initial supplier vetting and onboarding to performance monitoring.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure procurement goals support organizational objectives.
- Implement sustainable and ethical procurement initiatives across the organization.
- Mentor and lead a team of junior procurement analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
- Proven track record in managing spend exceeding $50M annually.
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Coupa) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong grasp of global trade regulations, contract law, and supply chain risk management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
