Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for indirect and direct materials.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive market analysis and vendor diversification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional department heads to align procurement goals with company growth objectives.
- Implement advanced procurement software and automated workflows to increase operational efficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance through rigorous KPIs and quarterly business reviews.
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and internal procurement policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Finance; MBA or CPSM certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement roles within a global organization.
- Proven track record of managing high-value spend categories and achieving significant cost savings.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement analytics tools.
- Exceptional negotiation and influence skills with the ability to build consensus at the executive level.
- Deep understanding of global supply chain logistics, import/export regulations, and contract law.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets for informed decision-making.
