Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category management strategies for direct and indirect spend.
- Lead high-stakes contract negotiations with domestic and international suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and service terms.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate potential operational disruptions.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing lifecycles, from RFQ/RFP development to final supplier selection and performance tracking.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and vendor consolidation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in operations, finance, and logistics to ensure alignment on procurement goals.
- Monitor supplier compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5-8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of managing high-value contracts and achieving significant cost savings.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement software (Coupa, Ariba).
- Expert-level negotiation and analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- CPSM or PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
