Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain resiliency.
- Negotiate complex vendor contracts, master service agreements, and statements of work to ensure favorable terms.
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying new suppliers and conducting rigorous due diligence.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to proactively mitigate supply chain risks.
- Implement advanced procurement software and automated workflows to increase operational efficiency.
- Oversee vendor performance scorecards to ensure compliance with quality and SLA standards.
- Mentor junior procurement staff and foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in strategic procurement or global supply chain management.
- Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings through effective vendor negotiations.
- Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and procurement analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
- CPM, CPSM, or APICS certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at the executive level.
