Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve supply quality.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with Tier 1 suppliers to secure favorable terms and long-term value.
- Analyze market trends and economic indicators to forecast procurement needs and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate performance through rigorous KPIs and quarterly business reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance and Operations, to align procurement activities with corporate objectives.
- Implement sustainable procurement practices and ensure strict compliance with international trade regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or CPSM certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within a manufacturing or corporate environment.
- Proven expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement analytics tools.
- Strong background in strategic contract management and deep understanding of legal terminology in procurement agreements.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at the executive level.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume spend portfolios exceeding $50M.
