Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category management strategies to drive significant cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations with key global suppliers to secure favorable terms, volume discounts, and service level agreements.
- Build and maintain high-performing relationships with strategic vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Perform rigorous market analysis to anticipate supply chain trends and mitigate procurement-related risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments, including Finance, Operations, and Legal, to streamline procurement workflows.
- Drive organizational compliance with internal procurement policies and international trade regulations.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to executive leadership to track ROI and procurement success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPSM certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Expertise in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or Coupa) and advanced data analytics platforms.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual spend portfolios.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor teams and manage complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think strategically under tight deadlines.
- Deep understanding of global trade compliance, sustainability standards, and risk management frameworks.
