Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key commodities, optimizing cost savings and supplier performance
- Lead cross-functional negotiations with global suppliers to secure favorable terms and contracts
- Implement and manage risk mitigation strategies for supply chain disruptions
- Analyze market trends and data to inform procurement decisions and drive innovation
- Maintain and expand a diverse, high-performing supplier network aligned with ESG standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives
- Oversee procurement budget management and cost control initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of procurement experience with 3+ years in managerial roles
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP Ariba preferred)
- CIPS or equivalent procurement certification required
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Demonstrated experience in international procurement and cross-cultural negotiations
- Knowledge of Singaporean procurement regulations and compliance standards
