Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sourcing plans to minimize costs and maximize quality across all categories of spend.
- Negotiate complex contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the procurement process, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and supply chain risks to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the entire vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, performance evaluation, and relationship management.
- Oversee inventory control strategies to prevent stockouts and reduce excess inventory carrying costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating high-value contracts and achieving significant cost reductions.
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
