- Negotiate high-value contracts with global suppliers, balancing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate potential disruptions.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement goals with organizational objectives.
- Implement lean procurement practices to improve operational efficiency and reduce overhead.
- Lead periodic supplier performance reviews to ensure adherence to SLA and quality standards.
- Mentor junior procurement staff to elevate team capabilities and internal processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPSM certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement management.
- Expert-level knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and procurement analytics tools.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-million dollar vendor negotiations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data into actionable business insights.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing remote or international teams.
- Deep understanding of global supply chain logistics, trade compliance, and risk management.
