Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end procurement strategies for multinational clients across 15+ categories
- Lead vendor negotiations securing 15-20% cost reduction while maintaining quality standards
- Implement risk management protocols for supply chain disruptions and geopolitical volatility
- Oversee ERP system optimization (SAP/Ariba) for procurement data analytics and reporting
- Manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships including C-suite executives and regional heads
- Drive sustainability initiatives through ESG-compliant supplier vetting and circular economy practices
- Mentor junior procurement specialists and conduct quarterly process improvement workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum 8+ years in procurement/sourcing with 3+ years in managerial roles
- CIPS/ISM certification or equivalent procurement credentials
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationship management
- Advanced proficiency in procurement analytics tools (e.g., Coupa, Jaggaer)
- Exceptional negotiation skills with demonstrable cost-saving achievements
- Strong understanding of APAC market dynamics and regulatory compliance (GDPR, Singapore GST)
- Fluency in English with business proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia
