Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end procurement strategies for key commodity categories
- Lead supplier negotiations for multi-million dollar contracts with global vendors
- Analyze market trends to identify cost reduction opportunities and mitigate supply risks
- Implement ESG-focused procurement initiatives aligned with corporate sustainability goals
- Manage vendor relationships through performance metrics and continuous improvement programs
- Collaborate with finance and operations to optimize inventory turnover and working capital
- Leverage procurement technology (ERP/SRM systems) to enhance process efficiency
- Mentor junior procurement specialists and drive best practices across the department
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; MBA/CIPS certification preferred
- Minimum 8 years procurement experience with 3+ years in managerial role
- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, contract law, and vendor management
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and procurement software (SAP/Ariba)
- Cross-cultural negotiation skills with APAC market experience
- Certification in risk management or sustainability procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM)
- Strong financial acumen with ability to analyze total cost of ownership
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executive leadership
