Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end procurement strategies for key commodities
- Lead vendor negotiations, contract renewals, and cost reduction initiatives
- Manage supplier relationships across APAC with emphasis on performance metrics
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams for integrated sourcing
- Implement procurement analytics to drive data-driven decision making
- Ensure compliance with ISO 20400 sustainable procurement standards
- Lead cross-functional procurement projects with 6-8 week timelines
- Mentor junior procurement specialists on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- CIPS/ISM certification preferred
- Minimum 8 years procurement experience with 3+ years in management
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP Ariba or Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in procurement KPI tracking
- Experience managing global supplier portfolios in manufacturing/tech
- Proven negotiation skills with contract law knowledge
- Fluency in English with Mandarin proficiency advantageous
