Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve supplier performance.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with global suppliers to ensure favorable terms and risk mitigation.
- Conduct deep-dive market research and trend analysis to identify new vendor opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align procurement activities with broader business objectives.
- Monitor and manage vendor KPIs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes through data-driven automation and software adoption.
- Manage end-to-end procurement workflows, including purchase order lifecycle and invoice reconciliation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement roles.
- Proven track record of successful high-value contract negotiations and vendor relationship management.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and procurement software.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data for strategic decision-making.
- Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative approach to internal and external stakeholder management.
- CPSM or APICS certification is a significant advantage.
