Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category management strategies for direct and indirect spend.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with global vendors.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and process improvements.
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of supplier relationships, including performance reviews and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement requirements with project deliverables.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to proactively adjust purchasing strategies.
- Mentor junior procurement analysts to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic procurement or tactical purchasing.
- Professional certification such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM preferred.
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred).
- Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and operational improvements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of supply chain risk management and global logistics compliance.
