Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end procurement strategies for key categories including raw materials, IT equipment, and professional services
- Lead complex negotiations with global vendors to secure favorable terms, SLAs, and cost savings of 15%+
- Manage and nurture relationships with top-tier suppliers while implementing risk mitigation frameworks
- Analyze market trends and leverage data analytics to identify cost reduction opportunities
- Oversee e-procurement system implementation and process automation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ISO 20400 sustainable procurement standards and local regulations
- Mentor junior procurement specialists and cross-functional stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 8+ years in procurement/sourcing with 3+ years in managerial role
- CIPS/ISM certification or equivalent procurement credentials
- Proven track record of delivering 7-figure cost savings in manufacturing or tech sector
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP Ariba, Oracle) and e-sourcing tools
- Exceptional negotiation skills with experience in international contracts
- Strong analytical abilities with experience in spend analysis and market intelligence
- Fluency in English with proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa Melayu advantageous
