Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category sourcing strategies for global logistics operations.
- Negotiate high-value vendor contracts to achieve aggressive cost-reduction targets while maintaining quality.
- Conduct deep-dive market analysis to identify emerging supply chain trends and potential risk factors.
- Manage end-to-end performance of key suppliers, including quarterly business reviews and compliance audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate procurement workflows with inventory management systems.
- Mentor and lead junior procurement specialists to build a high-performance team culture.
- Drive sustainability initiatives by vetting and onboarding environmentally responsible supply chain partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement roles.
- Proven track record of managing enterprise contracts valued over $10M annually.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
- Strong negotiation skills with a deep understanding of contract law and risk management.
- Excellent analytical capabilities with an emphasis on total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling.
- Professional certification (CPSM or CSCP) is highly preferred.
