Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive policy research and analysis for healthcare legislation and regulations
- Develop evidence-based recommendations to improve public health outcomes and access to care
- Collaborate with congressional offices, federal agencies, and healthcare stakeholders
- Prepare detailed policy briefs, testimony, and reports for senior leadership
- Monitor implementation of healthcare programs and evaluate effectiveness
- Manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Mentor junior analysts and guide policy development processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal healthcare policy analysis or related role
- Deep knowledge of U.S. healthcare systems, Medicaid/Medicare programs, and ACA
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and healthcare databases
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for policy audiences
- Demonstrated ability to navigate federal government processes and regulations
- Experience developing and presenting policy recommendations to senior officials
- Security clearance eligibility (required for federal positions)
