Responsibilities
- Analyze socio-economic trends and draft high-impact policy recommendations for cabinet consideration
- Lead cross-departmental working groups on emerging public sector challenges
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using advanced statistical methodologies
- Develop implementation frameworks for federal-provincial policy alignment
- Present findings to parliamentary committees and senior leadership
- Mentor junior analysts in public sector governance best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or Political Science (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years federal/provincial government policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS/R and policy modeling software
- Proven track record of delivering Cabinet-ready policy briefs
- Valid Government of Canada security clearance
- Knowledge of Canada's Policy on Results framework
