Responsibilities
- Analyze urban development trends and legislative impacts using quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for metropolitan planning initiatives
- Coordinate cross-agency task forces on housing, transportation, and sustainability programs
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative testimony for congressional committees
- Manage stakeholder consultations with municipal governments, NGOs, and community groups
- Oversee implementation of federal grant programs for urban revitalization projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government policy analysis or urban development
- Expertise in quantitative analysis (SPSS, R, or SAS) and policy modeling
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislation or regulatory frameworks
- Knowledge of federal grant management and procurement regulations
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with complex stakeholder audiences
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
