Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for urban infrastructure projects
- Analyze legislative impacts using quantitative modeling and stakeholder consultations
- Lead cross-departmental task forces on housing affordability initiatives
- Prepare briefing notes for senior government officials and parliamentary committees
- Monitor emerging trends in municipal governance and international best practices
- Manage public consultations and draft responsive policy frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution
- Security clearance eligibility (Reliability Status)
- Knowledge of Canadian federal-provincial intergovernmental relations
- Published research in urban policy or equivalent professional contributions
