Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive urban policy frameworks aligned with federal sustainability goals and community needs
- Analyze complex demographic, economic, and infrastructure data to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-agency task forces on housing affordability and transportation modernization
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with local governments, NGOs, and community organizations
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and legislative recommendations for senior leadership
- Monitor implementation progress and evaluate policy effectiveness through quantitative metrics
- Mentor junior analysts and coordinate interdepartmental policy reviews
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in municipal or federal policy analysis
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical modeling
- Demonstrated success in developing evidence-based policy recommendations
- Deep understanding of federal grant processes and compliance requirements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive experience
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one within 90 days
