Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex urban policy challenges using quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations aligned with federal regulations and community needs
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs, reports, and legislative proposals for senior leadership
- Monitor implementation of new policies and evaluate outcomes using KPIs
- Mentor junior analysts and coordinate cross-departmental task forces
- Stay current with emerging trends in sustainable development and smart city technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in quantitative analysis (SPSS, R, Python) and qualitative research methodologies
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing policy frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and public speaking capabilities
- Proficiency with legislative processes and federal compliance requirements
- Security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Professional certification (e.g., PPMP, CPP) preferred
