Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy frameworks for major infrastructure initiatives
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research and economic impact analysis
- Stakeholder engagement with government agencies, industry partners, and public representatives
- Lead interdepartmental task forces on complex regulatory issues
- Prepare Cabinet submissions and parliamentary briefing materials
- Monitor policy implementation effectiveness through KPI tracking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years progressive policy development experience in government
- Proficiency in policy analysis frameworks (SWOT, PESTLE, cost-benefit analysis)
- Advanced knowledge of Canadian federal/provincial governance structures
- Certified Public Policy Professional (CPPP) designation preferred
- Demonstrated success with infrastructure policy projects valued >$100M
- Security clearance eligibility
