Responsibilities
- Analyze complex healthcare legislation and regulations to develop actionable policy recommendations
- Conduct rigorous quantitative/qualitative research on public health outcomes and program effectiveness
- Collaborate with congressional offices, advocacy groups, and internal stakeholders to advance policy agendas
- Lead cross-functional task forces addressing critical health equity and access challenges
- Prepare high-impact reports and testimony for senior leadership and congressional hearings
- Mentor junior analysts and manage policy development project lifecycles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Health Administration, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of federal policy analysis experience with demonstrated impact on healthcare legislation
- Expertise in healthcare financing systems, Medicare/Medicaid policy, or population health management
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (R, SAS, STATA) and health data systems
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with prior congressional testimony experience
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Proven track record of managing multi-year policy initiatives from conception to implementation
