Responsibilities
- Design and execute preclinical drug formulation studies for novel therapeutics
- Lead analytical method development and validation using HPLC, LC-MS, and spectroscopy
- Coordinate CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, Controls) documentation for regulatory submissions
- Mentor junior scientists and optimize laboratory protocols for efficiency
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support IND-enabling studies
- Stay current with pharmaceutical industry trends and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in solid-state characterization and formulation development
- Proven track record in regulatory documentation (CTD, eCTD)
- Strong proficiency with analytical instrumentation and data analysis software
- FDA/EMA regulatory compliance experience in pharmaceutical setting
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project teams
- Validated GMP/GLP laboratory practices knowledge
