Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and analysis of preclinical studies for novel drug candidates
- Develop and optimize analytical methods for compound characterization and stability testing
- Ensure compliance with FDA/EMA regulations and GMP standards
- Collaborate with CMC, regulatory affairs, and clinical teams for seamless drug development
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to process improvements
- Present research findings at internal reviews and industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in HPLC, LC-MS, and spectroscopic analytical techniques
- Proven track record in preclinical formulation development
- Deep understanding of drug regulatory pathways (IND/CTA/BLA)
- Experience with GLP/GMP documentation and quality systems
- Strong project management skills with ability to meet aggressive timelines
