Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of preclinical studies for novel drug candidates
- Oversee analytical method development and validation for API characterization
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with FDA/EMA guidelines
- Mentor junior scientists and optimize laboratory workflows
- Present research findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed publications
- Develop robust protocols for stability studies and impurity profiling
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in drug development or CMC
- Expertise in HPLC, LC-MS, and spectroscopic techniques
- Proven track record in regulatory submissions (ANDA/BLA)
- Strong knowledge of ICH Q guidelines and GMP practices
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
- Validated experience with biologic or small molecule therapeutics
