Responsibilities
- Design and execute novel drug formulation strategies for preclinical and clinical development phases
- Lead analytical method development and validation per ICH/FDA guidelines
- Oversee stability studies and ensure GMP compliance across all processes
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to prepare IND/NDAs and support FDA interactions
- Mentor junior scientists and optimize laboratory workflows
- Present research findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in small molecule formulation and biopharmaceutical development
- Strong analytical skills with HPLC, LC-MS, and dissolution testing proficiency
- Demonstrated success in regulatory submissions and compliance documentation
- Excellent project management abilities with track record of meeting deadlines
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with GLP/GMP environments and quality system implementation
