Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex preclinical studies to evaluate drug efficacy and safety profiles
- Lead molecular biology assays and high-throughput screening programs
- Analyze genomic data using advanced bioinformatics tools for target identification
- Develop and optimize analytical methods for drug characterization (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR)
- Prepare regulatory documentation (IND/CTA) and support FDA/EMA submissions
- Mentor junior scientists and manage laboratory budgets/resources
- Present findings at international conferences and peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in small molecule drug discovery and biologics development
- Proven track record of IND-enabling studies and regulatory compliance
- Strong proficiency in analytical instrumentation and data analysis software
- Experience managing CRO partnerships and vendor relationships
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (Nature, Science, J Med Chem)
- Validated problem-solving skills for complex experimental challenges
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation abilities
