Responsibilities
- Lead formulation development and process optimization for novel drug candidates
- Design and execute complex preclinical studies in compliance with FDA/EMA regulations
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to prepare IND/CTA submissions
- Mentor junior scientists and manage laboratory resources efficiently
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Stay current with emerging pharmaceutical technologies and methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, or related life science field
- 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D
- Proven expertise in GMP/GLP environments and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in HPLC, LC-MS, and dissolution testing
- Track record of successfully advancing drug candidates to clinical trials
- Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership abilities
