Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in designing and executing preclinical drug development studies
- Develop and optimize analytical methodologies for compound characterization and stability
- Author and review regulatory documentation (INDs, NDAs) ensuring compliance with FDA/EMA guidelines
- Collaborate with CMC teams to scale up manufacturing processes under GMP standards
- Present research findings at scientific conferences and peer-reviewed publications
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to departmental innovation strategy
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in small molecule drug development and formulation strategies
- Deep knowledge of ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in HPLC, LC-MS, and dissolution testing
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and timelines
- Demonstrated ability to translate scientific concepts into actionable development plans
