Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex preclinical studies for novel therapeutics
- Analyze experimental data and prepare regulatory documentation (IND/CTA)
- Lead cross-functional teams in drug formulation and optimization
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Maintain compliance with FDA/EMA GMP/GLP standards
- Mentor junior scientists and present findings at industry conferences
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure seamless trial protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field
- 8+ years of industry experience in drug development
- Proven expertise in analytical techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR)
- Strong track record in IND/CTA preparation and regulatory submissions
- Experience with biologics or small molecule therapeutics
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Validated problem-solving abilities with complex scientific challenges
- Publishing record in peer-reviewed journals preferred
