Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug discovery programs from target identification to preclinical development
- Design and execute complex in vitro/vivo experiments to validate therapeutic mechanisms
- Collaborate with CMC teams to optimize formulation and manufacturing processes
- Mentor junior scientists and present findings to executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with FDA/EMA regulations and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Stay current with emerging technologies like CRISPR and AI-driven drug design
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in developing small-molecule biologics or ADCs
- Expertise in cell-based assays and high-throughput screening platforms
- Familiarity with pharmacokinetics/toxicology studies and regulatory pathways
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience managing cross-functional project teams
