Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional drug discovery projects from concept to preclinical development
- Design and execute complex experiments in molecular biology and pharmacology
- Validate analytical methods for compound characterization and stability
- Author regulatory documentation (INDs, NDAs) ensuring GMP compliance
- Mentor junior scientists and optimize laboratory workflows
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Monitor industry trends and integrate emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in drug development with 2+ IND submissions
- Expertise in GLP/GMP environments and regulatory affairs
- Advanced proficiency in HPLC, LC-MS, and cell-based assays
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, Controls) documentation
- Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
