Responsibilities
- Lead complex pharmaceutical research projects from conception to clinical trial preparation
- Design and execute experiments in pharmacology, toxicology, and formulation development
- Analyze and interpret scientific data to support IND/NDAs and regulatory submissions
- Mentor junior scientists and optimize laboratory protocols for efficiency and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Chemistry, Manufacturing, Clinical) to ensure project milestones
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in pharmaceutical sciences
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in drug formulation, preclinical development, and regulatory affairs
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in HPLC, LC-MS, and cell-based assays
- Demonstrated success in leading GMP-compliant research and documentation practices
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data to stakeholders
- Experience with FDA/EMA regulatory guidelines and submission processes
