Responsibilities
- Lead preclinical drug formulation and process optimization for novel therapeutics
- Design and execute complex analytical studies using HPLC, LC-MS, and spectroscopy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, Controls) strategy
- Prepare regulatory documentation (IND/CTD) for FDA submissions
- Mentor junior scientists and optimize lab protocols for GMP compliance
- Present findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in small-molecule drug formulation and biopharmaceutical analytics
- Proven track record in IND-enabling studies and regulatory documentation
- Strong proficiency with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, NMR)
- Familiarity with GMP/GLP regulations and ICH guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional R&D projects
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals
