Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and analysis of complex preclinical studies and clinical trial protocols
- Develop innovative drug formulations and delivery systems for targeted therapies
- Oversee regulatory compliance strategies and documentation (FDA, EMA, ICH guidelines)
- Mentor junior scientists and foster collaborative cross-functional partnerships
- Present research findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed publications
- Drive continuous improvement of laboratory processes and quality assurance systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in drug formulation development and analytical characterization
- Strong knowledge of GMP/GLP regulations and regulatory submission processes
- Experience with advanced analytical techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR)
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional R&D projects
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex science
- Published research in peer-reviewed pharmaceutical journals
