Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of preclinical studies for novel therapeutic candidates
- Develop and optimize analytical methodologies for compound characterization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (biology, toxicology, manufacturing) to advance drug candidates
- Prepare regulatory documentation and ensure compliance with FDA/EMA guidelines
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to scientific publication strategy
- Identify emerging technologies to enhance R&D pipeline efficiency
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in formulation development, analytical chemistry (HPLC, LC-MS), or pharmacokinetics
- Proven track record in drug discovery from lead optimization to IND submission
- Strong knowledge of GMP/GLP regulations and ICH guidelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to scientific detail
- Exceptional communication abilities for presenting complex data to stakeholders
